History of Store:

1992:        Texas Game Company formed in Allen, Texas, by Frank Woods (previously, Dir. of Software Development)

 

1995:        Texas Game Company expanded storefront to include 5 private game rooms and a staff size of six, growing to become a premier Game Store for North Texas, serving Ft. Worth to Tyler, Waxahachie to Oklahoma.

 

2004:       Moved entire store to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, due to spouse accepting position with THE University of Alabama.  Changed the store name to Crimson Castle Chess & Games, and adopted a “different” philosophy … to live life, first, placing priority on family and family needs.  Tuscaloosa has been a wonderful location to support that philosophy.  We feel fortunate to have this opportunity to serve the gaming needs for our community.
